Research use only

Everything sold on this site is a chemical reference material supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. Nothing here is a drug, a food, a cosmetic or a dietary supplement; nothing has been evaluated by the FDA; and nothing is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Products are not for human or veterinary use of any kind.

By purchasing you certify that you are at least 21, that you are buying on behalf of a laboratory or research organization, that the material will be used only in controlled in-vitro research, and that you will comply with every law that applies to its purchase, handling, storage and disposal. Product quality and testing

Most products are made for us by a United States contract manufacturer and the rest are sourced from United States suppliers. Every lot is released only after testing by an independent third-party laboratory. Each released lot has a certificate of analysis recording identity and purity by HPLC and mass spectrometry, and the certificate for the lot you received can be looked up by lot number on the Certificates page. Where a lot has not yet been released, its certificate is shown as awaiting. How we test is described on the Quality & release testing page; the contractual specification is in Terms of Sale §6.

Shipping and delivery

Orders placed by 2 PM Eastern ship the same or next business day; ground transit adds 2 to 5 business days. Every order ships at a flat rate, free from $99.00 on standard and $350.00 on two-day. We ship within the United States and its territories only. Orders arrive in a plain, unmarked envelope or box. Volume packs

Any whole quantity from 1 to 1,000 vials of a product may be ordered. Packs of 100, 250, 1,000 vials are offered at the pack price shown on the product page and set the unit price; quantities above 1,000 of one product are quoted individually. Every vial in a pack is labeled and belongs to a single released lot, so the pack carries one certificate of analysis. Packs are subject to the same research-use, returns and payment terms as single vials, and the same exceptions to all-sales-final apply to them — wrong item, off specification, damage in transit and non-delivery, as set out in the returns policy.

Returns, refunds and exchanges

All sales of correctly supplied product are final. Once a vial leaves our custody we cannot verify how it was stored, so we do not take product back, exchange it, or refund orders placed in error or no longer required. We replace or refund, at your election, in four cases: the wrong item was shipped; independent analysis shows the lot falls below the purity on its certificate, on the terms in the returns policy; vials or seals arrived damaged, reported with photographs of the packaging within five business days of delivery; or the carrier confirms a domestic shipment as lost. Payments and disputes

Orders under $1,500.00 may be paid by Cash App, Zelle, ACH bank transfer or cryptocurrency, or by card where that option is offered at checkout. Orders of $1,500.00 and over are paid by Cash App, Zelle, ACH bank transfer or cryptocurrency, but not by card. An order paid by transfer is held until the payment arrives and ships as soon as it does. Where card payment is offered, it is taken on a form provided by a PCI DSS certified payment processor named at checkout; card details are entered on the processor's form and never reach this site, and payment is taken when you place the order, before dispatch. For Cash App, Zelle, ACH or cryptocurrency, you send that payment directly to the details shown when you place the order; it cannot be recalled once sent, your order reference must be in the payment memo, and an order not paid within the time stated at checkout (24 hours for Cash App, Zelle and cryptocurrency; seven days for ACH) is cancelled. Goods are released once funds have cleared. All prices are in US dollars. A discount code takes the stated percentage off the goods subtotal only, one per order, entered at checkout; see Terms of Sale §4. Card charges appear on your statement as AFA Biosciences.

If anything about a charge is unexpected, write to support@afabiosciences.com quoting the order number before raising a dispute with your bank; every billing question is answered within one business day. A chargeback raised without contacting us first, on an order that was delivered as described, is treated as a breach of these terms: the account is suspended and the amount may be referred for collection. Privacy and data

We collect what an order needs — contact details, shipping address, the items ordered, and your research-use certification — and share it only with the providers that operate parts of this service: the carriers for delivery, Resend for email, any card payment processor named at checkout, and the hosting and database providers named in the policy. We do not run advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell data. A card processor handles card details on its own systems under its own privacy policy. Age verification

Purchases are restricted to adults aged 21 or over purchasing on behalf of a laboratory or research organization. We require every purchaser to hold a registered account, to name the organization and its type, and to certify their age, their affiliation and the research-use conditions at checkout; all of it is recorded with the order. We may decline any order. These requirements do not establish regulatory approval or the lawfulness of a particular product or use in your jurisdiction. Full text: Terms of Sale §2.

Liability and legal agreement

By purchasing you accept all risk associated with research chemicals; confirm that the material is for in-vitro laboratory research only; accept that products are supplied to their stated specification and otherwise as-is, without any other warranty; agree that our liability is limited to the price paid for the product concerned and excludes indirect or consequential loss; and agree to indemnify AFA Biosciences against claims arising from misuse, improper handling or use outside the research-use terms. You remain responsible for lawful storage, handling and disposal where you are. These terms apply only to the extent the law allows and do not remove rights that cannot be waived.
