This site sets almost nothing on your device, and nothing that tracks you. Here is the complete list.

What we use
Two cookies of our own, two entries in your browser's local storage, and the cookies Stripe needs to take a payment. We run no analytics, no advertising pixels, no tag manager, no chat widget, no embedded video and no social plug-ins, and we load no third-party script on any page other than Stripe's payment form at checkout. Fonts are served from our own domain.

Third-party cookies
Stripe is the only third party that can set a cookie in your browser on this site, and only within its own payment form on the checkout page and on the invoice page it hosts for orders paid by bank transfer. Those cookies are governed by Stripe's privacy policy. Our email provider and our shipping carriers set nothing on this site.
Why there is no cookie banner
Consent is required for cookies that are not necessary for a service you have asked for — analytics, advertising, tracking. Every item above is necessary for the thing you are doing at the time: staying signed in, keeping your cart, remembering that you have read the research-use notice, or paying. There is nothing optional to accept or reject, so we do not interrupt you to ask. If we ever add something that is not necessary, it will be listed here and switched off until you agree to it.
How to clear them
Signing out removes the session cookie. Emptying the cart clears the cart entry. Your browser's “clear site data” option for afabiosciences.com removes everything at once; the research-use notice will then show again on your next visit. Blocking all cookies in your browser will stop you signing in or paying.
